And pls don’t mind my English as I have just started blogging and trying to improve myself let me know in the comment section which parts of my writing you think can be better.

Best playstation 2 RPGs

I am starting with PlayStation RPGs, to be honest, Role-playing games are more fun when you play with your friends.

Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the cursed king

Intro: It is a PlayStation 2 RPG (role-playing game) developed by Level 5 and published by Square Enix.

You will be playing the role of hero in a 3-dimensional environment. you can pan the camera at a full 360 degrees around the character.

During the battle, each character in your party will be able to attack, use items or use magic and skills.

While using any attack the camera angle will shift to First-person perspective.

While during the attack it changes to Third-person perspective to give you a better cinematic scene.

You can use “Psyche Up” command to build ‘Tension’ resulting in character’s next attack more stronger.

Final Fantasy XII

Intro: A role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix for playstation 2.

The game is set up in an imaginary place called Ivalice.

On the land of Ivalice two emperors “Archadia and Rozzaria” are conducting a war.

A third empire “Dalmasca” which is in between both of these two empires has also been compromised.

When Dalmasca was taken over by Archadia its princess “Ashe” runaways, on her way she meets with “Vaan” an aspiring Sky pirate.

You will be controlling characters with a 360-degree angle view.

You can save your game time to time on the memory card using save crystals or gate crystals.

Kingdom Hearts

Intro: An role-playing game developed and published by Square Enix.

The whole game is focused on the main character and interaction with other characters.

The game is a composition of many different stories put together.

Sora the main character usually go along with Donald Duck and Goofy as the game features many other AI-controlled characters from Disney and Pixar.

The game is very much influenced by its parent franchise “Final Fantasy”.

Moving on to the next section Best games for PlayStation 2 I have found some game which you might have already know about.

Tony Hawk’s pro skater 4

Intro: A sports video game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision.

Pro Skater 4 is the sequel to the previous pro skater 3.

You will be assigned some goals to complete without any time restrictions, unlike previous versions in which you had to complete tasks in a limited time period.

There are some new tricks which are included in the game with previous tricks.

You can also play this game online with your friends if you all are connected to a LAN.

These are modes which are accessible in the online mode for PlayStation 2.

Trick Attack: Set as many points as possible
Graffiti: In this mode, objects turn its colour into the colour of the player who did a bigger trick on that object
Combo mambo: Highest number of points achieved in one combo by 1 Player
King of the Hill: A Capture the objective type mode
Slap: Hit your friend as hard as you in-game
Free skate: practise mode

Burnout 3: Takedown

Intro: A racing video game developed by Criterion Games and published by Electronic Arts.

The game is an arcade-style racing video game having circuits in many cities and location with populated traffic.

There is a total of 3 modes you can play.

Single-player mode: In this mode, you race against 5 AI-controlled cars in a single multiple lap race.

Unlike any other Burnout games you can use a boost at any point it doesn’t require the boost meter to be full.

Road Rage: It is a new mode implemented in-game.

Basically, in this game mode, you need to take down some vehicles in a limited time.

In case you feel a shortage of cars on the road, the game automatically keeps spawning vehicles on road for you to takedown.

World Tour: This mode consists of 173 events of all kinds of Road rage crash mode etc.

So, there is a total of 10 locations spread across the United States, Europe and Asia.

Moreover, there is a Faceoff match in this mode you will be rewarded with the opponent’s card if you win the match.

The game also supports online multiplayer mode.

And there is a total of 5 different modes you can play in online multiplayer.

GTA: SAN ANDREAS

Intro: An action-adventure game developed by Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games.

One of my all-time favourite game and I m sure so it for you.

The game is played in a third-person perspective containing various missions all over the San Andreas.

Basically, a map based on California and Nevada.

Moreover, the map is further categorized into three metropolitan cities.

Like, Los Santos is based on Los Angeles, San Fierro is based on San Fransico ad Las Venturas based on Las Vegas.

Unlike any other open-world game you can do whatever and however, you want to do.

Not only that but also, in the beginning, many parts of the map will be locked and can be unlocked by completing missions.

FACT: For the first time in gaming industry GTA San Andreas introduced a food system in-game.

In-game you can either follow the storyline by completing missions or roam around the cities causing destruction and getting the police behind you.

Likewise, you can also play various roles in-game like a taxi driver, fireman and other.

In the game, you can also have girlfriends who own some vintage supercars.

In addition, you can change your clothing accessories, have a hair cut, build muscles, swim, climb wall which was not there before in any GTA series.

You can also create your gang and attack other gangs to cover up their areas.

Best 2 player games on PS2

The Warriors

Intro: A beat’em up video game developed by Rockstar Toronto and published by Rockstar Games on October 17, 2005.

It is a survival game which centres around brawling.

There are multiple small elements included in the game as of Rockstar tradition.

like using spray paint to mark turf or insult other people.

The characters included in-game are:

Cleon (The leader), Cleon’s lieutenant Swan, heavy muscled Ajax and Snow, Cleon and Swan’s friends Vermin and Cowboy, the Scout fox Harlem native Cochise and Rembrant.

Furthermore, a new mode “Armies of the Night” will be unlocked once you have completed the main storyline.

God Of War: One of the best games on playstation 2

Intro: It is a mythology-based action-adventure playstation 2 game developed by David Jaffe at Sony’s Santa Monica Studio.

The game is plot around Kratos, a spartan warrior, who was set up to kill his own wife and daughter by his former master the geek Go of War “Ares”.

Furthermore, you will have a double-chained blade set. The blades of Chaos, the blades of Athena ( Or Athena’s Blades) and the Blades of Exile.

After years of destruction of ancient Greece, Kratos ends up in ancient Norway with a young son named Atreus.

here the voiceover artists have done a tremendous job in making characters voice more natural.

Furthermore, on your way, you will be dealing with various enemies from the pantheon of Norse mythology which will try to disrupt your mission.

Shadow of the Colossus

Intro: It is an action-adventure game developed y SCE Japan Studio and Team Ico, and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for PlayStation 2.

The game is more like a film where the hero fight against enemies to save his heroine.

In-game you will be playing as “Wander” a young man who is travelling on a forbidden land with his horse in order to defeat 16 monsters knows as Colossi and save the life of a girl named Mono.

despite, being an action-adventure game the game doesn’t feature any other character than Colossi neither it features any other person to interact with.

Likewise, you can only defeat Colossi by finding their weak points and attacking them.

The game is one of the best games for PlayStation 2.
